Cloud Harbor Security
Statement
Cloud Harbor, Inc. utilizes some of the
most advanced technology for Internet security available today.
When using our secure servers, you are protected by Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) technology, utilized by most popular browsers,
including Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer. This
technology allows us to use the most advanced encryption tools
necessary to protect information transmitted between your computer
and our server. Through encryption, the information you enter is
converted into code that is then securely dispatched over the
Internet. Once our secure server receives your encrypted
information, it is translated back into its original form and
stored in our encrypted database. When you access our site using
modern web browsers that support Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
technology we protect your information using both server
authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is
safe, secure, and available only to registered Users in your
organization. Your data will be completely inaccessible to your
competitors.
Cloud Harbor, Inc. provides each User in your organization with a
unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User
logs on. Cloud Harbor issues a session "cookie" only to record
encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific
session. The session "cookie" does not include either the username
or password of the user. We do not use "cookies" to store other
confidential user and session information, but instead implement
more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded
session IDs. Our web site(s) are hosted in a secure server
environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to
prevent interference or access from outside intruders.
Site and Service Updates
We also send the user website and service announcement updates.
Subscribers are not able to un-subscribe from service
announcements, which contain important information about the
service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services
and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or
phone.
